Question:

“I admit it- I look in the mirror and pull up my face to see how much better I’d look with a facelift. I’m beginning to think it’s time – but when is the right time? Is it better to do it early?”

Answer:

The big news is this: we’ve taken the fear out of the facelift! Gone are the days of the pulled, unnatural looking facelift. Today, in the right hands, you’ll look soft and natural, with a smooth and youthful appearance. No one should ever look at you and detect that you’ve had a facelift – only that you look fabulous!

A facelift addresses the neck, jawline and mid face, bringing back the defi nition that years have taken away. The mini-lift corrects the early signs of aging, but is less effective for more advanced aging of the neck and jowls. During your consultation, we’ll discuss the benefi ts of both procedures. You’ll want to consider the immediate results, and also the benefi ts over the long term; the work you do today will impact how you age over the next decade.

Here is my advice about the right time for a procedure: when something about your appearance catches your attention repeatedly, that’s the signal to take steps to change it. There are benefi ts to taking action early – faster healing and better muscle tone aid in the recovery time. You should never wait one minute longer than you want to, or act one minute earlier than you are comfortable.
